Secrets of the Flat Abs Diet
Alex Vos asked:
When it comes to getting a flat stomach, six pack abs, and having low body fat then you will need to know the secrets of the flat abs diet. In order to get a flat stomach you need to lower your percent body fat and that is where the flat abs diet comes into play. The premise of this diet is very simple, in order to reduce your weight/body fat you must create a caloric deficit in you meaning that, all other things remaining equal you must either burn more calories through exercise or consume less calories in you diet. There are a lot of ways to do this but we are going to do it in a way that is safe and sustainable. The 3 ways we are going to do this is by eating clean, smart fasting, and drinking zero calorie drinks.
The first thing that you want to do is begin to eat 5-6 small meals a day. This alone will increase your metabolism and will reduce your cravings to overeat or snack on junk food. During these 6 meals you want each of them to include a protein and a vegetable. Carbohydrates should not be eaten after 5 pm is a good rule to follow. Stay away from anything fried, fast foods, ice cream, white carbohydrates. The idea is to eat healthy food that is nutrient dense and not to consume a ton of wasted calories that do not provided any nutritional value such as pizza and the foods listed above. So the first step is to get hip on nutrition
If you remember our goal is to create a caloric deficit in our diet in order to get that flat stomach. On overlooked and greatly misunderstood way to do this is fasting. Fasting is something that receives almost no attention in the weight loss community. I believe the reason for this is that there is no money to be made in telling people how to safely fast. The food companies loss since you are not eating their food and the magic pill diet pills lose too. I suggest that you fast for a 24 hour period once every two weeks. I fast from Sunday at 3pm to Monday at 3pm. Learn about fasting and start to do some research on it you will be surprised at what you find. It’s a cheap and effective way to create a caloric deficit and lose weight and get a flat stomach.
The easiest change that you can begin to make to your diet is to only drink zero calorie drinks. If you are drinking calories this will make your flat stomach goals harder, cut out all the soft drinks and juices from your diet, they are empty calories any way. Start to drink more water; most Americans do not drink enough water. Start replacing the soda for water when you go out to eat will also save you money; this is the best of both worlds.
That in a nut shell is the basics for the flat abs diet. Two out of the three ways even save you money. This is a diet that contains no hype and most importantly it works. Please take this information and put it to use in your own life.

Abs Diet For Women
Steve Warren asked:
It seems everyone has an opinion on the right abs diet for women. Most of the articles and ads I see do nothing to really show you how to get those beautiful ripped abs. And some even lead you astray. Here’s the truth about great abs.
There are three main parts to good nutrition.
1. Protein
2. Fat
3. Carbohydrates
You can exercise until the cows come home and not have great abs. Why? You are not eating right. You have to cut the fat, the right fat, cut the sugar (it is not the sugar that makes you fat. It is the stuff that goes with the sugar), and cut the carbs, again, the right kind of carbs.
What you see advertised as good food is not necessarily good for you. You must realize the food processors are in the business of making money, not making you healthy.
You are responsible for your health. Not the grocer, not the doctor, and not even the nutritionist. It is all on your shoulders. Many of the people mentioned mean well, but have been misled by the corporate food companies. Even some of the experts we want to trust are on the payroll of the corporate giants.
To build muscle, be strong and be able to do what life requires you must eat protein. Protein is the building block for muscle. You must have muscle to function in life and the older you are the more important it is to be strong.
We hear a lot of discussion on fat. Actually, we need fat to live. The problem is the fat we get in our food is processed, manipulated, heated, frozen and altered. It is not natural fat. There are good fats and bad fats. It is vital to your health to know which is which.
You have been misled about carbs. Carbs are kinda’ like fat. We need carbs for fuel, but too much of the wrong kind does more harm them. We have been fed, excuse me, bad info. The present teaching says we need to eat a lot of carbs and cut out the meat. Actually the reverse is true.
Think about how cave men ate. Their diet was mainly fresh organic meat, fish, nuts, berries and wild plants. It has only been the last few years, human years, that we have started on our present diet.
With the right guidance you can not only have great abs, but a great body to go with them.

Six Pack Abs Diet – Want to Know Why It’s Not Working? Get 4 Direct Tips on What it Really Takes!
Shannon Simson asked:
Today we’re going to chat with a good friend of mine who is an expert in the field of dieting tips for getting 6 pack abs. Hope you like it…
GM: One last, but sort of big question Shannon, what’s the best one or two of your tips on chiseling a six pack of abs?
SS: Well Greg I think you’d agree with me that there is a lot of confusion in the nutrition arena in the way of the right food to be eating and how much to be eating all at the same time knowing the best exercises and techniques that are going to make that six pack begin to appear.
One of the most important thing I always train my people to understand properly is that when you are dieting correctly, you don’t always need to match all those crazed diets, you shouldn’t have to go ‘low carb’ or fat, or high ‘this’ or ‘low’ something else. To be winning when you are on the fat loss journey you do still need a certain amount of body fat in order to turn the fat into lean and strong abs. The key to success in any weight loss journey and getting that six pack is all made up of high nutrients foods that are as un-processed as they possibly can be.
These next 4 points are very important if you want to get lean and stay lean for however long you live…
1- Make sure that every day enough protein is in your diet. It has much better thermic effects compared to carbohydrates or fat. It’s also a great structure for building and maintaining strong muscle. Keep in mind that the quantity of muscle you carry around relates greatly on controlling metabolism.
2- Fiber, Fiber, Fiber! When it comes to carbohydrates, make sure that almost all of your carb eating is from greater fibers like veges, grains & fruits. Be sure to bypass to much sugar as this is what makes it difficult for people to even start losing weight and then keep it off. Usually I will look for carbohydrates that around two or three grams in fiber for each ten grams of all carbs. Keep in mind that more fiber is going to fill you much faster.
3- You never need to be scared to eat fats! A lot of people I see seem to go far too much under the certain fat intake levels that you still do need in your diet, and this can have bad affects on hormones which trigger the craving to eat even more. You still have to eat some fat in your diet to stay healthy each day. Great ideas for these sorts of fats are nuts, whole meats, eggs, seeds, olive oil, avocados, coconuts etc. Also, saturated fat that comes from tropical oil are actually quite misunderstood by everyday people, nutritionists and health pros. You’re right, they are filled with levels of saturated fat but they are known to really be beneficial, this is something that should be explained on an entirely different level.
4- Make sure you bypass both of these 2 things at All Times…
- artificial fat that come in margarine, shortening/hydrogenated oil in the processed foods
- above level sugar corn syrups that is basically every sweetened goods in the shops
As soon as you get yourself use to all these main four things above, everything else will fall into perfect place and you will begin to see the results you’re after sooner than you ever expected and most importantly, you will be able to control every aspect of your dieting.

The Six Pack Abs Diet
T Hunt asked:
The six pack abs diet is really a brand new lifestyle, and if you want that new midriff section, that is what you are going to need to get it. If you’re like most people, dieting is torture. It is a huge change from your normal eating routines.
You’ve probably shopped around, looking for a diet that said it would give you a lean body, and that wasn’t unbearable to live with. You may have even tried a few, only to find they weren’t the six pack abs diet you were looking for.
Guess what? They were all misleading you.
The kind of food intake you need to get those six packs requires doing everything differently. It isn’t just a matter of what you eat. There is the question of where, when, how much, and why!
If you are single and eat out, you probably eat a lot of stuff that’s richer in calories than you would ever cook yourself. Sumptuous food is one of the perks of eating out a lot, but it won’t help you tone up those abdominals. If you have a family to cook for, they can object to your eating requirements, requesting special foods that you are trying to avoid or even demanding what they want. If they aren’t on your diet, then there is no way around it.
What can you do? First, stop thinking in terms of diet. You won’t get that kind of body out of a diet, and a good exercise routine, alone, will not shed all the body fat you need to. You have to think about how you live, instead, and make your commitment to a different lifestyle.
There is a trade off here: eating rich food and having a great looking, healthy body. If you eat out, do a little restaurant shopping and find places that will prepare food the way you want it. Ask if they will prepare your chicken or fish in vegetable oil instead of butter. Try vegetarian cuisine or Japanese food. They are both very low in fat and high in protein.
Chefs can be very understanding. Some restaurants will serve gravy, sauce, and salad dressing on the side. See what they offer that is low cal. Request uncooked vegetables. If you eat with someone else, suggest that they try your new restaurant discoveries, for a change.
Do you eat lunch out? Consider bringing it with you instead. You can eat a pita sandwich while you walk in the park, or do window shopping. Bring in vegetable sticks and fruit for snacks at work. Instead of counting calories, think of those six pack abs that you long to see in the mirror. If you are the cook, you can use the same techniques at home, plus a few more. Serve your plate as you cook, leaving out the things you don’t need.
Think of yourself first. If you are eating healthier, so is your family. If there is something everyone just can’t live without, use low-cal and fat free substitutes to make it. Always serve dessert when you are ready to leave the table. Take turns cleaning up, so you can spend the extra time walking or doing a few reverse crunches.
Remember, a six pack abs diet is a lifestyle. Live it, and soon you’ll be living with six pack abs.
