Terry Mitchells asked:

Dreaming of your very own six pack abs? Honestly, you don’t have to dream of it because we all have six pack abs. Yes you heard it right! Each of us already have them… the only problem why we usually don’t see them is because of the fats wrapped over them. That is why in our quest to actually reveal our abs, most men and women head off to the gym and start doing numerous ab exercises.

But of course, there are some factors to consider before signing yourself into a gym. Let’s talk about the most known word when six pack abs is concern – diet.

Not just a simple diet per se, but a healthy one. Some people associated this word to hunger and starvation, which is a very wrong misconception. Having yourself on a diet mode doesn’t mean you must starve to death to achieve your goal of burning those ugly fats around your belly!

Actually what we really mean when we say we are on a diet is that we regulate our selection of healthy food and drink. This is the ultimate step if you really want to keep up with your goal of attaining that six pack abs.

In making your diet list, always remember that food rich in protein must be present. It is important in building your muscle tissues and makes your body burn more calories than carbohydrates and fats. It is also essential in preventing you from raiding your kitchen because you will have the feeling of fullness most of the time.

Don’t be afraid to include dietary fats because as often said, eating fat will increase your calories fast… but as long as you level it to 20-30%, it can be one of the best things to get six pack abs fast.

Here’s the pitch: in your diet plan, you can still have carbohydrates, but just around the post workout period. This is the time when your body is going to need it because your muscles will surely suck them up, but the tendency of turning them into body fats is less.

Keeping in line with your proper diet will surely make that hidden six pack abs visible for you to see and others to admire.

Getting Your Muscles “pop” With Killer Ab Workouts

With every workout, training only goes so far before your muscles get used to the exercises and stop developing. And this applies to the abdominals as well, because they are just like any other muscle group in your body. So what are some killer ab workouts? As the abs are similar to other muscle types, they should be trained in a similar fashion. You can apply the same techniques that you use with other muscles. Muscles only grow if they are stressed, or ‘shocked’. There are a few ways of doing this and the technique is called Progressive Overload.

You can start with low reps on exercises like situps, knees to the chest and crunches. Gradually build u to higher reps. This is effective as it uses your own body weight, but there will come a point where you will need to do something to work against gravity, and by adding a stability ball you will get that desired effect.

To really get your muscles to ‘pop’ with killer ab workouts, try different weighted movement exercises. Using a heavy dumbell on a stability ball is an effective technique.

Results in the lower abs can take longer, and a lot of the time there is more focus on the upper abs. You should work both these muscle groups at the same time. Exercises that concentrate on the lower part of the abdominals include lying leg raises on incline and no incline, and also full vertical leg raises. If you are not sure what these are ask an instructor at your gym.

Frequency and intensity are great killer ab workouts. The important component is suprise and variety. Try changing between intensity and overload.

It is not a good idea to concentrate just on th upper, as you should be doing exercises on both upper and lower abs at the same time. There are exercises that will work in on the lower portion of the abdominals. These include; lying leg raises, as well as lying leg raises on incline. The tougher exercise which you can try once you find the other two exercises are less effective is the hanging leg raises fully vertical.

Exercise is only 30% of the whole deal, but you do need to get it right. The other 70% is diet and this will pay a crucial role when you are gunning for killer ab workouts.

6 Pack Abs Diet ? What To Eat To Build Abdominal Muscles

Six pack abs means you have to flatten your stomach by losing the fat in your body. This does not mean that your skin will sag and muscles of your body will loosen.

You have to strengthen your muscles, especially tummy muscles by following a strict diet. Here is a diet which will help you get those six packs you’ve always wanted.

The first and foremost thing that you have to remember while following a six pack abs diet is that you need to drink plenty of water.

You should have a minimum of at least three liters per day and this amount will vary with the weight of your body. Try to avoid having milk, caffeine and other aerated products.

The number of times you take your meals should increase. But this does not mean that the quantity of your meals should increase too.

Restrict the quantity to a small portion but have food at regular intervals. Also include a bit of protein in every meal, this will help to speed up your metabolism.

Due to a very hectic schedule, everyone has a tendency to avoid breakfast due to lack of time. Well if you do this, you will land up having a heavy lunch and this will help you gain more rather than losing some.

You can opt for cereals for breakfast, which are full of nutrients and are easy to prepare but never skip breakfast. After all this diet will help you get six pack abs.

Another important thing, to incorporate in your diet is that you need to stop having junk food. Cut down on the salty stuff like chips which usually stimulate your hunger instead of subsiding it.

Also sodium tends to bloat your stomach so avoid it as much as you can. After all this diet will help you with those six pack abs.

Six Pack Abs Workout For Sexy and Firm Abs

If you want to get yourself sexy and firm six pack abs you must do correct ab workouts. This does not only mean that the ab workout will shed off the excess stomach fat right away, rather you must constantly do it in order to achieve a sexier, firm and flat abdomen. Therefore ab workouts are vital in your six pack abs plan.

The easiest method to do shed of stomach fat is to integrate ab workout into your daily routine. Fitness specialists recommend 4-5 times weekly to get your ab muscles more stimulated. Ab workouts should not take more than 10 – 30 minutes a-day therefore I don’t find it hard to do them regularly.

Avoiding foods that are high in carbohydrates and sugars is essentials while you are doing any type of ab workouts. You can consider eating fresh fruit and vegetables a few times a day, to increase your metabolic rate. This will help the weight loss process and lose abdominal fat a lot quicker.

There are a wide variety of six pack ab workouts that you can try, one of the most popular is the “Renegade Rows” which is in fact one of my favorite and not only but it’s very easy to do.

Get yourself into a push-up pose, holding one dumbbell your right hand and the other dumbbell in the left hand. This time you will not perform a push up but simply do an arm row and repeat with the other hand. You can combine this exercise with any other ab workout that you feel comfortable with.
