So many fitness books, how does one decide which one is right?
Just from a cursory look, I appreciated the author’s educational background (Kinesiology) and actual training (pilates from THE expert and kick boxing champion).
Upon reading the book, I enjoyed the author’s straight-forward and yet, casual style. The information is concise; not overwhelming like many other books and systems I’ve encountered. Just after one reading, I was able to recall much of the information without referencing the book and that helps keep me motivated because I feel like I’ve internalized it.
He’s trained with ‘average’ people like me and that made the system more attractive: if they can do it, so can I.
His motives seem to be pure in helping one succeed. He’s not looking to capitalize on pushing products on the user like so many other authors of fitness books do.
Bottom-line: He provides the framework for attainable goals. He projects encouragement. And encouragement leads to motivation. If we are motivated to do something, we’ll do it.

An animated Chris Robinson belts out staples "Sting Me", "Jealous Again" and "Hard To Handle" with the passion that any frontman worth his salt would aspire to achieve. Brother Rich Robinson lays down the blues-based rhythm while providing soulful backing vocals. The band slows it down in the middle, with the Brothers Robinson mesmerizing the crowd with acoustic versions of several tunes, including "Sunday Night Buttermilk Waltz" and "She Talks To…
