    Yes, we all know that the fashions are a little dated, and the instructor walks a fine line between being encouraging and a little annoying (“Hey gang”!). However, this remains one of my favorite and most-used exercise DVDs. The exercises are simple and efficient, and the instruction is clear and concise. Put the DVD in, start the program, and before you know it you are done. This and “Perfect-in-Ten Abs” are in constant rotation for the days that I cannot make it to the gym.

    Great DVD that provides 4 different mini-workouts. Even the non-motivated can work up the energy to complete an 8-minutes workout. No special equipment is required.

    I bought this not expecting anything amazing and when it comes down to it these dvd’s really work. This set is a great value and has a ton of great extras. There is no way you have an excuse that you can’t find 8 mins free in your day. You will have to get used to the cheesy host and a lot of odd spandex!

    This is an updated version of the original with new super buff and fashionable – ie no FUN! I wanted the original 8 minute abs and this is NOT it. Still good, I mean the exercises are fine, but not the originals.

    I have a hectic life because of my children, my work, etc. This DVD, 8 minute workouts, has been a superb! You can choose which part of your body that you need to change.

    Although sometimes I think that 8 minutes won’t do anything, but the result is coming slowly. Healthier and fitter!

    …Pop in the DVD and before you know it–It’s over and you’re happy that you did a little something for your health! Just what a busy I-Hate-To-Exercise person needs!

    I kid you not, you will notice something in less than a week. For me, it was the beginning of pecs, which I have always wanted to work on. I might be a different user than most, because I am thin guy trying to get… not as thin. I have a feeling this is meant more for people trying to loose weight. But, the abs section is very difficult the first time you do it. I just got through the entire thing with no stopping yesterday (day 6). The arms section is very easy (too easy) if you don’t use weights. The first time I did that section I paused halfway through and ran to the kitchen to find spaghetti sauce jars. You can start with easy weights.

    The good: if you do them all, it only take 45 mins (rounding up because I get up and do other things between the exercises.) These things work, if you put effort into them. The main guy is really optimistic and has a great upbeat attitude.

    The not as good, but still not bad: You have to get some weights (I would recommend 2, 5, and 10 lbs. for guys and 2, 3, and 5 lbs. for ladies). They are kinda dated; but striped spandex is bound to make a comeback eventually.

    lets face it: you feel sexier afterward, and once you see the beginning of results, you will be so pleased with yourself for actually sticking with something. You WILL recommend this to people.

    My main focus is the abs section: Like the trainer ( Jamie Brenkus ) says

    to do it EVERYDAY. Don’t eat AFTER SUPPER !! To get AMAZING results for the abs you want to get to a point where you can do it 2 hours BEFORE bed also. It will take 90 days to get “holy smoke !!” results, but it WILL happen if you work the system religiously. One more thing: it is SPINE FRIENDLY. You’ll swear by it – not at it.

    i really love this workout i do all of them together abs, arms, buns, and legs. i feel like i have tons of energy when im done, and i really love the 8 min stretch, it feels real good, so i would recomend this for anybody but unless you dont have any helth problems at all i would recomend that you consult a doctor before doing this or any workout.
